Time flies!

“Yeah, I’ve been here for 3 weeks now and I’ve got a bunch of lovely friends already that is planning to come to Sweden and visit. I have school tomorrow again and I should really go to bed so, to all of you daydreamers out there.
I can just say, do you want to be the one that says “I almost did that.” No, I don’t think so.

I’m glad that I took this opportunity. Of course, it’s going to be hard sometimes with homework in a different language than I am used to. Two senior years, one american and one swedish, to complete until the summer.
To have a good balance between the social, physical and emotional. To enjoy every day to the fullest.
And then living on these experiences for the rest of my life. Telling people the craziest  stories of what I’ve done in my life, and my life in America as a foreign exchange student. I’m going to show these pictures to curious kids when I get wise and old. And this very minute, I really only have one thing to do and can you figure out what that is?

Sleep!

Mysterious?

Guess what I’m going to write about tomorrow..

SLEEP

I was so tired today and if I’m going to make it through the day tomorrow, I have to go to bed now!

I have one test in Health class tomorrow and one in Human Anatomy.
Have this feeling that I will do the Health test a little better than H.A, h-a-h-a….
Oh well. I’m going to my first football game tomorrow with the girls and it’s going to be so much fun! I will promise you pictures! So this blog wont bore you to death anymore with pictures of my palm etc……

Good night people!

fail

(4 days earlier)
I’m never going to forget this.
Doing dance jumps in the gym during volleyball water-break.
First time, good!
Second time, falling on my ‘behind’ after the last jump and closing my ‘act’ with the peace sign,
lying on my back with a slaughtered butt.
Hahahaha, the worst ever!

I don’t really know how I got a bruise on my HAND!
I think that I landed with my hand cramped like a fist so that my nail
came on rather strong right in the middle of my paw.

School was good yesterday, my teachers are wonderful and all of my peers are so nice!
We had an intense Volleyball workout too, as usual.
But today we had a day off and I got to practice on my guitar playing, yeah forgot to tell you.
I bought an acoustic guitar the other day and I’m so glad that I did!
I’ve missed it so much and it is so much more fun to practice my singing stuff too.

Now I’m going to look at a paper that I may or may not get as a homework in Collage Composition, if I get that class instead of Literature and Composition. A higher level on the writing part, I think, but without the literature.

Then I have to sleep. I am so tired everyday and sometimes I even think that I still have jet-lag…

WRONG

Okey, yesterday, I couldn’t even log in to my blog and now the theme doesn’t work so I changed it and I have to see what’s wrong when I come home from school.

This Friday night, me and the girls where all dressed up and went to a Japanese restaurant where ONE meal would be big enough for three people, crazy but that’s america huh?

Pretty girls, ready for a long night.

After the dinner, we went home to Regan’s place to meet up with some football guys, we went swimming at Rachael’s place , back to Regan, just talked and played videogames. It was fun and we went to sleep like 3.30 am. Not good, haha.

‘Cause the next day I was so tired that I went to sleep on my bedcover in a very uncomfortable position fully dressed at 8!
And then I woke up a few hours later, made it more comfortable just so I could wake up at 6 by a cricket and think that it was a school day and that I overslept. FUN! So then I couldn’t go back to sleep when I finally realized that it was a sunday.

Yesterday, Me and Mary were at a meeting with our american organization where I met David and Markus from Sweden.
It was nice to speak swedish with someone in reality. I’m going to a camp with all of the exchange students in September, that’ll be fun!

After that, Jessica picked me up at my house to go to orange leaf, frozen yogurt place, and then to walmart and then my place to laugh and eat Ahlgrens bilar. She loved it! (Swedish marshmallow candy)

Now I’m going to get my things ready and go to school.
I will write more later.

Lack of time

Okey, the classes have been the same way every day now but the volleyball…..
Both tuesday and wednesday, we had more then 2 hours volleyball and THEN circuit training in the weightlifting room for at least 45 minutes and then stretch. 3 hours every day. It feels good though. But the burn of sore muscles, haha. The muscles between the shoulder blades and my arms are killing me when I do certain moves.

I think that our practice will be the same today too and hopefully I’ll get that meeting with the counselor. I don’t have that much more to write right now, have to get ready for school. I will try to write tonight before I go to sleep. (Went to bed at 9.30 yesterday, figure out why, hahaha)

Girls girls girls

There wasn’t any Volleyball Practice today, they were only taking pictures.
So after that, me and Mary got a ride with Rachael but I had time to do whatever so Me and Rachael went to Olive garden and eat pastas. I’m so glad that I found some real, true girls here! She is so nice and we couldn’t stop laughing at stuff that are so different between Sweden and America.
After that, Rachael left me at a gas station because Jessica were going to pick me up to go to the mall. That was also a lot of fun and we talked about Sweden and our differences in our homes, families, traditions etc. etc.
Then we went to her place which is also very American and Big!

They are so cute when they’re trying to pronounce swedish words!
I tried to teach the volleyball girls how to say “You are cute!” = “Du är söt!”
They were so funny! And we couldn’t stop laughing.
Can’t wait until this weekend when we’re going to do so much fun stuff together!

I can’t wait until Volleyball practice tomorrow!

High School

So, High School was different, I can tell you that!

My first class was Health and there it was only like Sophomores I think which I didn’t thought about at first. The teacher was awesome and he seems like a funny guy.

My second one was American Government where there were almost only sophomores too. Kind of weird, I thought. Those teachers seemed cool so I hope that it wont be too hard for me to get the system there, haha.

The third class, I had Acting……..
Also only Sophomores, I think.
It was pretty lame with all of the younger boys just running around, trying to make funny jokes and just a BIT too crazy. Interrupting the teacher when she talked and we had an acting thing where you had to put a thing in an invisible box that started with the same letter as your first name. Weird to do that with all of those freaked out, small people.
Not that I’m SOOO big, old and wise but, maybe you can see where I’m coming from?

Fourth hour was Advanced Women Choir and that seems fun ’cause it was a really big class with different ages, most seniors I think.

Fifth hour was supposed to be STAR but since it was a Monday and we had a late start, 8.00 am, we didn’t have one. So it was Human anatomy, thinking about changing that one though.. Not really what I expected but, oh well.

The 3rd Lunch. ALSO ONLY FRESHMEN’S AND SOPHOMORES! I mean give me a break here guys! Cut me some slack!

Sixth(Seventh) hour, Racquet sports II……… 14 YEAR OLDS that were throwing paper on me. ARE we really back to kindergarden?! I HAVE to change that, ’cause it’s just not happening!

Seventh(Eighth) hour, Literature and Composition which seems like a good class with Seniors only. GOOD!

Now I have to sleep and try to endure the P.E tomorrow with the kids, YAY!
Sleep tight folks!
(Freshmen’s 9, Sophomores 10, Juniors 11 and Seniors 12. I’m a senior so yeah..)
