A new day

Just skype’d with my awesome friend Wall-e from Sweden.
Miss her so much! And it’s so weird that she had to hang up to go in to town and her time was 1.30!
I was first making my breakfast and ended the call when I’d almost ate it all.
Is there a better start to the morning? MAYBE. But that would’ve include her as well.
A skype-conference with all of my swedish girls would be the optimal start of my morning. Since I’m the only one that’s up, I don’t have anything more to do than to eat, pack my lunch, do my makeup and put on clothes and to have company while doing all this is just marvelous! haha.

School starts 7.30, it’s 6.36 now.
It ends at 2.32, then, Mary and I are going home to workout since we don’t have volleyball and then we’re going to the football game tonight, I’m so excited! We’re representing the senior volleyball girls since they’re at a tournament and can’t make it.

Tomorrow morning at 8.30, Mary and I are going to the Library to be picked up by a bus full of exchange students for two days in Rolla, whatever we’re gonna do there? I don’t know.

Either way, I hope that this weekend will be fun and I don’t have any plans yet for next weekend and you know what?
I LOVE IT! I don’t want to go out of town every weekend.

Oh well, time to brush my teeth and pack my schoolbag.

(Snack before bed, after the away game yesterday.)
One Apple, half of a banana and peanut-butter. So American!

Just do it!

Okay, let’s get this over with before I forget what I’ve done these past weeks.
Friday, we had a homegame and the footballgame was away so we missed that one, buhu!
Saturday, we had a tournament and Linda, my host-mom, picked me up at five in Springfield to go see PBR (Professional bull riders) which was actually kind of fun to watch! I made recordings and one day when I have time, I’m going to have a youtube bomb with videos that I’ve recorded from random things.
Sunday, we ate american pancakes, like we’ve done so many Sundays before.
Then, I skyped with my family back in Sweden and then went to the mall.
I bought three different body mists and 10 panties at Victorias secret and  three different kind of sweatpants and a cardigan at Hollister + a hoodie in another store. I don’t shop that often so when I do, I have a tendency to spend money, hehe.

This week has been like every other.
My days starts with doing my makeup, putting on clothes and then go and make some eggs with turkey or ham for breakfast.
Being picked up at 7, start school with Health at 7.30.
Then I have American Government, Acting, Choir, STAR(which is mostly fun just talking to all of the random people I know in school), Human Anatomy, Lunch, College Composition and then I have 8th hour as a gap hour.
So, on some days, I’ve been with six of the footballplayers, just chillin’ at the quarterbacks house which is close to the school. They are crazy and hilarious, asks me the most weird questions you could possibly imagine but it’s so much fun!

And then Volleyball 3-6.
Home, take a shower, eat, do my homework and sleep.

I should try to be better at posting stuff here and taking more pictures but I don’t want to harass people with my picture-taking either, haha. I think that I will get better as soon as I’m getting things more in school.
I actually got my first grade check for the last couple of weeks.
And I wasn’t shocked to have low grades in some classes..
C in American Gov..
C+ in Human Anatomy..
B+ (2 points away from A) in Acting
A in Health, Choir and College Composition.
So it’s pretty good, I guess.
Especially my English class! (college comp.)
So I’m just going to improve and I study a lot when I get home from school so that’s why I don’t have the energy or time to write stuff here. In 40 minutes, Mary’s (The italian girl) host-mom is picking us up to go back to school to go with the volleyball team on an away game tonight. See? Busy girl.

Never

Nighty’

Okay, I’m definitely posting a review of the last week tomorrow!
Now, I’ve got to go to sleep feeling like there’s a bright future out there for me, like I usually feel when I’m calling it a day.

Sweet dreams!

Every time

Okay, my plans didn’t work out.
We got off at 4.30 but our ride didn’t arrive until 5.10 so now I’m home, 15 minutes earlier instead of 90.
But I can’t change the past, right? So now I’m just gonna try to make the most of the time that I’ve got left of this day.

I was going to fix my hair and spoil myself and my skin ’cause it really needs it.
I was going to do some hardcore studying and eat something good.

Now, I guess I’m going to have to do all of these thing anyway but take a little less time and go to bed by 10, at the latest! I really need my sleep.
See, like now, when I can’t really take the time to write down memories that I will treasure in the future, and I’m hungry like a beast, I don’t have the inspiration and urge to do just that… write.
I will just have to force myself to write something before I sleep, I don’t know..
can you feel the positive energy that I’m sending out to you guys?!

Sorry

I am sorry, my friends are complaining to me about not posting anything but I got home 10.45 pm (22.45) and I am too tired!
I think I will have time to write some stuff about the weekend, the days that has past and what my plans are for the rest of the week. GOT TO SLEEP NOW! 23.23!
Old pic from Sweden!!!!
Nighty’
Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs bite!

Superbad

I know that I should make posts everyday but I just don’t really find the inspiration and I didn’t take any pictures this weekend.
But what I can do is to explain my weekend!

Friday;
I didn’t go to practice because I had to study and fix for that nights football game and  my first real Homecoming!
I went to the football game and they won, like always!
And then Regan, Mary, and I went home to Regan’s house to change to our dresses and fix for the dance.
We arrived to the parking lot by 11.15 pm, and the dance ended at 12.
Before we even went out of the car, we see that the guys are walking OUT of the school.
They had been kicked out and said that it was so lame with all of the rules that they had about how NOT to dance.
So we went to Nakoah’s place to hang out. We were about 7 girls and like 12 guys, and they showed me how to dance in America, hilarious! They are all so nice, and some of the guys thought it was fun to “dance with the Swedish girl”, hahaha!

After that, I spent the night at Regan’s and we talked and talked. We were a little bit tired when we went up at 6(!) for their Volleyball tournament.. which they WON! They won every game that they played and they are totally awesome players! Super nice girls for sure.

That night, I spent with Haley, that lives just the street over from me. And same thing there, we had so much to talk about (I love these girls, they always make me feel so good) and we had slept in the car home from the v-ball too so.
She introduced me to sugar/cinnamon toast and all I can say is; delicious!

Anywho, that sunday, we woke up at 9 and went to the church service that started 10.30.
So much more fun than the Swedish church. And I really think that it is interesting to hear about how they look on Christianity here, which is very different from how we do.

After that, I went home to study, clean my room, and closet.

Today, the day was normal and had a funny switch to it!
I also tried to work as hard as possible at the practice just because I felt that I needed the workout.

Tomorrow, we have a v-ball game at home here in Nixa and we are dressing up in school, as we do on game days.
So I think I’m wearing heels and something soft and comfortable but yet kind of dressy to that.

Friends, school, sports, weekends, American life and just living in general, high on life!

An old picture on Alice and I from a Monday-night when we had a concert at our music-school in Sweden ♥
I didn’t have any make-up and I had had the flu all weekend, not the best when you are going to perform but, I did it anyway!

Okay I know..

I’m terrible at this!
I don’t have the time to blog and tomorrow I have School, pep-rally-thing for football and to remember 9/11, volleyball, football game and then HOMECOMING!!!!!!!!!
Ah!
I have SO much things to do and SO little time!
I’m booked all weekend so I’m just going to try to blog whenever I can guys!
ttyl!

Here’s a picture I took when we were down by the country this weekend!

(talk to you later, remember that one, alright?)

Maybe I should end this post with a picture that explains my look today too;

Food

I have gotten use to the food here now and I eat A LOT! All the time, every time I can get my hands on something healthy.
Everyday I bring carrots, watermelon, a big sandwich (dubbeldäckare.. or two), lots and lots of water and some more snacks to have before volleyball. I eat all that and breakfast.

And a little bit more food.

I love to eat, and I always eat healthy meals and snacks.
Once in a while, I give myself treats but since I work out so much, it doesn’t really matter since it’s not that much of it.

Okay, now, all I need is sleep.
