Here you have some movies that my friend, Louise Ljunglöf, and I recorded this summer the 28th of June by 10 p.m.
I mean, I have to entertain whoever is reading this and not be ashamed of who I truly am, haha.
Easily entertained as we are, we just put on some effects on my macbook’s Photo Booth while we were skypeing with our friend Ramo, and laughed as we always do when we are being as weird as we are.

Just now

Uploaded an awesome status at Facebook just now very recently;

 Hahahahaha, I love “Easy A” !

“Whatever happened to chivalry? Does it only exist in 80’s movies? I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window. I wanna ride off on a lawnmower with Patrick Dempsey. I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me. I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me. Just once I want my life to be like an 80’s movie, preferably one with a really awesome musical number for no apparent reason. But no, no, John Hughes did not direct my life.”

Tivoli

I’m off to Silver Dollar City with Linda and Mary.
As usual, and this time I will try to really make it happen; I’ll write more later!

Quick update

Okay, I have about 3 minutes.. haha.

Friday; Football game and Bondfire at Molly’s house where we sat and talked and made s’mores.

Saturday; Slept until 12.30, then working out, forgetting my shoes again = running without = pain! Not good at all but what can you do? haha. Went shopping for jeans with Regan and Jessica, those girls are crazy! And I love it!
When I had bought myself two pairs of jeans, we went to Tasia with Regans parents and I ate sushi! For the first time actually. Different, that’s all I can say.
Went home to Regans, had a sleepover there with here while Jessi went to a cornmaze with her bf Brady.

Sunday; Waking up at Regans, going home by 12. Eating, taking a shower and then at 3, Austin picked me up and we just hung out for the rest of the day.

A good weekend if I may say so myself.

Have to go!

What are the odds?

I was super pumped about going home to study and run on the treadmill…….
Just to realize that I left my running shoes in the locker room at school since I RAN to the bus, for the first time and I was with the football guys 8th hour so I didn’t have the time to think for a second.

BUT!
I walked at least for a little bit when I had studied for a while and read through everything during my powerwalk.
But when I felt like running, my feet, calves and knees protested since my feet have a high vault (?) and needs support from the shoe.
I’ll have to run both Saturday and Sunday.

It was dress up-day today and I wore a tight, black dress with black, high wedges. Felt kind of tall since I’m 5’8 or more without them, hehe. Oh well, now I’m going to take a quick shower, dress and eat a sandwich before going to school again for a home game.
No volleyball this weekend, no plans at all. Except for shopping and hanging out with friends.

I’m super tired and I’m going to sleep early tonight so I can go up early tomorrow.

Here are some pictures from when Maddi, from my College Composition class, Graceanne, the girl that spent last year in Sweden, and I hung out:

Here we are, trying to do, what Graceanne calls “the Swedish pose”.
Since, apparently everybody looks like that when they take pictures in Sweden, hahaha!

Update

A pic on all of the exchange students from this weekend.
Yesterday, we lost against Kickapoo. But it was SO close! And one of our top players is injured so we fought well! And we’re coming after our biggest rivals today, Ozark.

Mary and I, are gonna stay at the school when the bell rings ’cause it’s not worth going home one hour.
We’re going to go for a walk or something instead. And then the bus leaves at four. I’m pumped!

I have been writing a lot lately, obviously not here but in different notebooks I’ve got.
It seems like, every time I’m on a bus, I get inspiration from the surroundings and people around me.

I’m going to put all of these on my computer and maybe, just maybe, put them on here.
My personal thoughts and philosophies.

I doubt that I’m going to update anymore today but I hope that you think that my short updates are better than big ones every few weeks.

This is what I look like right now. And yeah, the lights in here are not that complimenting in pictures so that’s why my arm is up there. Just f.y.i you know, haha.

Eventful weekend

Friday night was the football game and after that, I hung out with some of the basketball girls that seems like a group of awesome girls as well. And now, I’m so excited about basketball season. I just have to make sure that I make the team!

Went up six am. Saturday morning to go to Rolla with 30 other exchange students.
We walked in a parade with people from all over the world and everywhere you look were different flags.
We had students from Japan, Vietnam, Brazil, Germany, Chile, Norway, Sweden(!), Pakistan, Korea, Lebanon etc.
So I learned a lot and we had a lot to talk about, which was actually really fun.
Cultural differences, languages.
I didn’t know what to expect from this trip but I enjoyed it a lot.

At the parade thing, every country had their own tent so it was like a market and we had our own where we talked about exchange students and tried to tell people that they should consider hosting one.
I started to talk to this woman that has a son that wants to go to Japan, and she was so much calmer when she left.
Since I couldn’t stop talking about how lucky I am to have so many friends here, being involved in a lot of different stuff here and just having the time of my life, experiencing things that some people never get the chance to.

After that, we went to our hotel and then we went to a huge house where we went rollerskating, lazer tagging, lazer mazing and just laughing and hanging out. It was weird that most of the other were about 15-16 and for those of you that don’t know, I’m 18. But I mostly hung out with Markus from Sweden, Valentin, and Andre from Germany that night. I usually end up with hanging with the guys in those situations ’cause they’re just crazy, haha!

Sunday, we went to a fishing place, I think that that was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Awesome surroundings!
I’m gonna post pictures later, I don’t have the time right now.
After that, we went zip lining, climbing and jumping. That was also a lot of fun so we did a lot and enjoyed each others company.

I hung out a lot with a girl from Norway too and it’s weird how different your experience can be here depending on your host-family. But we are both enjoying our life here and that’s the most important thing so..

The time is 7.20 am. and my ride to school is coming in 10 min.
We have an away game today so after school, I’m going home to spend time on the treadmill.
Will write more later!
